Excellent two nights in London. Great stay, walked all over, took in some sights and some ART, wife hit some fabric stores, fantastic birthday meal and drinks last night at Dishoom—guy two tables over at a Christmas party had an Everton ugly Christmas sweater on. Good sign. On 🚆 to Liverpool now…

That just can’t be the reaction for a misplay or miscommunication with your teammate under any circumstance. Has to be something from training or more deep-seated over time. The way he reacted, I initially thought he had caught somebody saying something they shouldn’t. Absolutely bizarre.

Liverpudlian friends: taking any and all recommendations and/or validation of recommendations I’ve secured for my visit to the city. Only thing on the books so far is a visit to the Christmas Market Friday night and a tea with the wife at London Carriage Works earlier on Saturday. The rest is open.
