The portrayal of working class women of the film, the nurses, is equally cackhanded and patronising.

The movie *sort of* hints that the bourgeois are exploiting him also, but this critique comes from outside the film and not within it. The film's largely uncritical of the medical voyeurism that Treves initiates, or all the theatre people who show up.

The American public:

Internet 1.5 got me DEEP into zines, craft, craftivsm, veganism, hardcore punk, anarchism, communism — basically all the tastiest and best parts of who I am.

Side note: there should be some kind of internet 3.0 Detective Agency who tracks down old pals from MySpace or Blogger or wherever, the people who used wild usernames never to be repeated and who then vanished when the platforms did.
