On Saturday, we’re building an artificial beach in the Italian Gardens to show just how much single-use plastic is polluting our planet — and we need YOU!

A big THANK YOU to everyone who took part in the Big Plastic Count last year.

I’ve now had the stats through from @sascampaigns.bsky.social for Weston and a whopping 366 people here took part in the count counting 9,089 plastic items altogether! I can’t thank you enough for your part in this.

It was an absolute joy on Tuesday to work with 3 of the students from Weston College studying TV, Film & Creative Production. They are creating a digital content package for us as part of their coursework & visited 2 of our business champions.

I'm looking forward to seeing the finished product!
