Can't fault her really in the party of protest "the lady doth protest " she is at least towing the party line
November 29, 2025 at 2:32 PM
The lady doth protest seems quite appropriate

Even Ratner was more savvy

We're dooomed
November 29, 2025 at 1:59 PM
I agree with you wholeheartedly but the comedic point may well be some will actually vote for them.
November 29, 2025 at 1:54 PM
Unfortunately I think the media environment is so hostile (both social and print/broadcast) that they feel they have no choice. They should infact realise they have years of Parliament left and act accordingly. They need to stop worrying about the polls and get on with the job.

And your brief shocked pause would probably make her think she had won the argument.

Russia cannot believe it's luck.

When she has said something nasty she looks pleased with herself. I actually believe she gets a kick out of being vile she certainly seems to think it makes her powerful. It brings it all down to the level of a drunk saying "I'm going to kick your head in " and thinking they have won the fight

He is using his accountant to calculate the figures. Obviously

So let me get this straight. Nigel Farage has contacts in the Taliban. Lord give me strength
August 26, 2025 at 9:36 PM
He's a sleeper
August 26, 2025 at 7:09 PM
A gift from the forest
August 26, 2025 at 7:05 PM
Probably he could win the popular vote but not on a constituency level his policy base isn't wide enough. I hope
August 26, 2025 at 6:57 PM
Mate, I don't think his supporters know the difference between their shoes size and their IQ
August 26, 2025 at 5:23 PM
I'm with you. We are a long way from an election, and I think Farage will be a victim of his delusions of grandeur. He may pole well across the country, but on a constituency level, I don't think he has a broad enough policy base to win many majorities .
August 26, 2025 at 5:06 PM
How will he deal with the House of Lords or can he act independently?
August 26, 2025 at 4:40 PM
I hope to god your right
August 26, 2025 at 3:55 PM
Serious question .Will he be able to get any of it through the house of Lords?
August 26, 2025 at 3:45 PM
But I do think we are both coming from the right place just in different ways. Peace be with you.
August 25, 2025 at 5:11 PM
I can not see that reply either it wasn't me . I think we have to respectfully disagree on some of the finer points. Personally, I don't think the UK government is attacking the right to protest but is, in fact, attacking criminal behaviour .
August 25, 2025 at 5:08 PM
My biggest worry is that some people in the public and press may see support for Palestinians themselves as support for terrorism and that would harm the cause. Wether you agree with the judgement or not is irrelevant. It is not about us
August 25, 2025 at 1:22 PM
Nefarious can simply mean criminal according to the Oxford dictionary. Neither of us heard the evidence given in court. I agree with you that looking from the outside, the judgement seems harsh but I am much more concerned with the plight of the Palestinians than that of Palestine Action.
August 25, 2025 at 1:17 PM
Satire is dead in this world
August 25, 2025 at 12:28 PM
Points 1 and 2 wholeheartedly. Point 3 we are in the UK, not US, and we don't have a constitution . Palestinian Action is a prescribed terrorist group due to some nefarious activity, and so support for them is illegal .Support for points 1 and 2 are not because we have freedom of speech
