Interesting, and also interesting that in the year view for 1582 there appears to be a glitch / inconsistency?
iPhone calendar (in dark mode) open to October 1582; also showing part of November 1582. Thursday, 4 October 1582 is immediately followed by Friday, 15 October 1582. iPhone calendar (in dark mode) open to the year 1582, ostensibly showing all twelve months. October 1582 shows 31 days, inconsistent with the month view for October 1582.
