He’s the antithesis of a decent Englishman.
He’s sly, he’s divisive, he has, at best, a tenuous relationship with the truth.
His avarice for wealth and power knows no bounds.
Many of his acquaintances have friends who wish this country ill.
Yet, the ignorant fawn over him.

@thenewworldmag.bsky.social hi I’m trying to subscribe but the link doesn’t take me to a page where I can! Plus I was a former subscriber but as I live in France apparently the £1 first month deal doesn’t apply - that’s harsh. Please can you help as I’d like to subscribe! Thanks

@mrjamesob.bsky.social hi James. I love your show but can’t listen to yesterday’s show as it doesn’t appear on Apple Podcasts. Is there a problem? Hopefully not!
Great work - one of the only voices in the media that speaks truth to power and everyone. Keep going! PS you’re not allowed to retire!!

Going to keep saying it - the Farage effect is largely an illusion. Many, many more people loathe him than like him.

‘It’s a mischievous false argument.’

Welcoming a 10% Trump tariff rate as a ‘Brexit benefit’ is like being grateful for a full tank of petrol after all the wheels have fallen off your car.

Brexit has made us poorer and weaker, wiping £140 billion from the UK economy. The lower tariff rate is a drop in the ocean.

And while I'm on it, considering the magnitude of events, the tightrope gov't is trying to walk, and their earnest declarations of patriotism, it is at best naive for farmers to go ahead with some tin-eared “no pancakes without us” protest - let alone the Leader of the Opposition attending. AT BEST.
What an astonishing own goal by Badenoch. Especially after her own shadow Defence Secretary has called the comments "deeply disrespectful". Even Farage had to condemn them.
