For a long time I have assumed, without evidence, that people I meet don’t like me. But this year I’m gonna try to change that mindset. From here on out, unless presented with clear evidence otherwise, I’m gonna try to assume I’m liked. We’ll see if it helps anything, but why not try

I’m a few weeks into this new job and I am simply so happy. This is such a good fit. My boss is so easy to work with, and I think I’m doing a good job! I’m getting good feedback and being asked to take on new kinds of projects.
But I feel like I’m waiting for the other shoe to drop…
