Why I love @quietriotpod.bsky.social #764. Because show me a podcast covering trans rights, right wing politics AND which MPs would be great at karaoke (I think you missed the lady of the hour Angela Rayner!) - thanks for the double helping this weekend @sturdyalex.bsky.social @pimlicat.bsky.social)

Super surprised that none of the 'Rest is..' podcasts are nominated (particularly 'The Rest is Entertainment' which seems to be the only one of its kind) Is there a reason why not?

Also @quietriotpod.bsky.social was robbed (hopefully see you there next time!)

Ed Davey is not wrong here - it's about time most of the press starts talking about policies for ALL parties (several are lacking) It's also time we taught critical thinking too..
Watch @EdDavey.LibDems.org.uk call out the BBC for their failure to hold Nigel Farage to account.

Eurovision is basically like a televised Pokémon battle between every European nations twinks and bisexual divas and that’s why I like it

OK, so let's see how Bluesky copes with the crazy awesomeness that is #Eurovision 🇪🇺🇨🇭🇸🇪💖

This
Kemi Badenoch keeps calling for inquiries into the rape gangs. I’m just very confused as to why she never thought to look into this important issue herself when she was Minister for Women. #PMQs

These are 'optimistic' figures and less than half of what Americans currently pay for the same things.

I confess, I was a bit worried when Starmer didn't come straight out the blocks with a supportive message on social media yesterday; but honestly, I'll take the genuinely warm reception and thoughtful words of today - it's not often you get to say this, but.. I feel proud to be British today 🇬🇧🇺🇦🇪🇺

We should have a Royal State Visit for Zelenskyy instead, on a grander scale than anything the Queen put on from Trump last time round.

After playing a fictional member of the Resistance a long time ago, I never could have imagined it ever happening in real life, but here we are.
Mark Hamill posting rebellious content in a battle against a dictator and his robotic sidekick is the most Star Wars shit ever.

Really interesting take on OpenAI.. 👀
Who is up for a short thread on the intriguing parallels between OpenAI and Enron, as told by one of Enron's investment bankers -- that is to say, me? Here goes...

Appreciate this may not be a universally popular opinion but the less you treat BlueSky as a crusade or cause, and the more you position it as simply a superior user experience with a better governance approach, the more sustainable the growth will be.

It's been snowing in the UK and the road gritters are out in force, begging the question:
Have you ever wondered where that grit actually COMES from?
The answer is more magical, beautiful and fascinating than you probably realised.

It's rather fun here, and I'm enjoying it...right up until the moment it needs to make money and we all decide we don't want to pay, 'adverts aren't that bad' and we go round the cycle again...🙄
Discussing Bluesky migration in terms of liberal flight misses the simple fact that most people use social media for fun not influence and this platform, unlike X and cruddified Facebook, doesn’t feel like you’re wading through shit to reach your friends. It’s not that deep.
