You only have 15 days once the clock on that starts. You will be notified by your local board of elections at that time. That is my understanding. It's not yet. And this is pending a further appeal by Judge Riggs.

Women should contact the department that issues birth certificates in their state and ask what paperwork needs to be mailed to that department to put their current name on an updated birth certificate. It may be the marriage certificate. That should then be placed as an addendum on the certificate.
