This was taken at 5:35PM. Time & Date tells me that sunset on Feb 3, 2024 was 5:14PM in Wallkill, NY. The out-of-camera JPG is fairly noisy as a result/white balance is off.

I had seen an eBird sighting from the day prior and it was a minimal detour at the end of the trip (other than annoying parking). The moment we got to the water, the rail popped out for us.
