A number of you need a reminder that talking on social media about doing things that are illegal and/or that have been flagged by this admin as potentially subjecting you to incarceration, investigation and/or prosecution is not smart.

That includes speculating about political violence.

There's such a tone of sadness to the CBC reporting right now. Adrienne Arsenault says, “I feel like the whole country, all of us, are getting both a history lesson and a politics lesson and an economics lesson and a lesson in heartache.”

In Silicon Valley in 2016, A.I. whizzes and VCs met to plot how to “replace all the writers." I was there.

"I was taking careful notes," I wrote, "so that the replaced writers of the future would have some record of how the purge went down.”

What Gina says.
Waiting to hear about some pitches, waiting to hear about some meetings, waiting to hear about pickups, waiting to hear about staffing, but at least the news cycle is nice and relaxing while I wait!

I went offline to work on a screenplay for a few hours, and when I resurfaced, so much surreal stuff had happened in the meantime that I honestly don’t know where to start. How do you manage?
