Interesting idea! I'd be worried about overlap making it hard to see enough detail, but if I smoosh 'em closer, I see what you mean! Doesn't leave much room for labels (and I prefer a direct-label solution over a separate legend generally) but it's a good thought!

NOVEMBER We did a lot of kick-ass election work, but I think this one was my favorite, because it took something we kind of knew instinctively existed -- our increased polarization -- and made it visually striking in a way I didn't expect.
