Even if big media deigned to throw some bones to the Asian minorities, they would actually find some big-name actors from Malaysia and Hong Kong, like Michelle Yeoh and Tony Leung, instead of actual Asian Americans. Why, because Asians are interchangeable?

There might be a case for minorities living in US, where the media is monopolized by a handful of media corporations, to demand representation. But they’re just making a Faustian bargain, gentrifying their identity to the corporate media’s palate for scraps of recognition.

RPGs may have evolved out of wargaming, but its value proposition is that it offers "something more" than wargaming, such as roleplaying and narrative opportunities.
Too much focus on the wargaming aspect forgets what makes RPGs special.

You can attempt multiple hits with different weapons, with different costs, but the number of hits use the same damage scaling spending on weapon type. Positioning uses a zone system. Multiple ally and enemy mechs can be in the same zone.

Resolution: Actions, such as attacking with weapons or evasion, have dice costs. The squared number slot means you have to get a total that matches or exceeds the number with your rolled energy dice. Some actions require fulfilling multiple number slots.

Mechs have different lines of AP (hitpoints). Every line of AP that’s completely damaged, the mech is staggered. Some mechs have longer AP lines, for stability, but less AP overall. The mech is destroyed if the “Core” part has no more AP.

The main difference between mech types is their leg type. There are different sheets dedicated to mechs of different leg types.

Mech Build is straight forward.
Mechs start at team level 10. They have 10 points to build their mech, and the money/experience is rolled into one resource known as COAM. But Coam is more similar to EXP than gold. There are prebuilt mechs.

Japanese: She can be just "クイニー"(Queenie)
Indonesian: "Ratu" which means queen but it has "Rat" in it.
