I have spent about 5 hours with Bravely Default II so far (not yet out of the prologue) and I feel so blah about it. Does it get better? This is my first time playing a Bravely Default game and everything feels really generic and poorly optimized for the Switch.

To put it simply, I really enjoyed my 40 hours with this game. It’s a must play if you are a fan of the series!

Maybe it’s recency bias speaking but FFXVI’s Cid may have surpassed FFVII’s Cid as my favorite in the series 👀 👀

Sony is seriously trying to advertise Suicide Squad for $100 literally days before giving it away for free with PS Plus??? 🤯. I guess the saying is there’s a sucker born every minute but my god most people won’t even touch this game if you paid them to. 🤦🏻♂️

Played the OG Mega Man from the legacy collection last night and damn if I had played this game as a kid I would’ve rage quit so many times! The rewind feature was a godsend. I love games that have this. It allows me to enjoy tougher games without as much of the stress.

Sci-fi story is bold but enjoyable. As my first exposure to Vanillaware's graphical style I was impressed. Battle section is repetitive and I would gladly skip it altogether if I could just to keep focus on the story. Overall worth the approx. 30 hours runtime.

🎮 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim ✅

My 2024 Nintendo Year in Review
Just realized that when it comes to physical games I’ll eject the disc from my PS5 after each session before I shut the system down but on my Switch I’ll leave the cart in the system until I finish the game completely or need to swap it out for a different game.

Friendly reminder that it’s OK to drop a game after a short time if it’s just not hooking you in. It happened to me the last couple nights with Mass Effect and Deathloop. I moved on to 13 Sentinels Aegis Rim and I feel like I’ll enjoy this one.
