It’s been a long hot day. I’ve walked a lot, shopped at The Market, played music to a big, busy room; also had a very tasty kebab and drank a fairly strong and smashing cold bespoke IPA.
Wanted to say, however, I’m never, ever, going to forgive this man his stupidity here.

I spent some years in the military. I have a lay person’s knowledge of the workings of government, alliances and factional interests.
This use of the RAF, in the Middle East is wrong. Service people will do their duties unfailingly.

A few well-fed faces here. Don’t spose (like my dad) they had to go through 27 military tribunals for a war pension for extreme disability. It’s an unequal society when the great & good live in luxury whilst every day people grub around making end’s meet. I believe we need to change that somehow.

Back when, as a military fella, I knew these contraptions pretty well. Made in the early 50’s they were still in use in the late 60’s. Unreliable, contrary and, in some cases, plain dangerous😐 I guess we got the best out of um with some skill hopefully.

Like many secondary school boys who bombed the 11plus, I learnt to use a small Myford in Metalwork class. Nothing like this magnificence mind.
