Great apology from Ja'Maar Chase if you ignore the fact that he did it and then bold-faced lied about it on camera and only apologized after getting caught and suspended. Clown.

I am the stone that the builder refused;
I am the visual, the inspiration
That made lady sing the blues.

I'm the spark that makes your idea bright,
The same spark that lights the dark
So that you can know your left from your right.

And here is why independent, good journalism is so vital. This doesn't happen if @mlsist.bsky.social and @theguardian.com don't shine a bright light on this garbage.

Remember to always root against Chicago House and their bigoted, scam-artist owner, Laurence Girard.

Support places that share your values and ethics. Row House Cinema in Lawrenceville is offering free movies and popcorn to anyone on SNAP benefits and is also taking donations for Pittsburgh Food Bank.

Everyone deserves time to relax, be happy, and have enjoyment in their lives. Support them.

A reminder that you do not need to give the far-right shitrag that is the New York Post any clicks, quotes, replies, etc. Don't give them metrics to sell to advertisers, don't give those advertisers views. Don't give them any breath.

"We're losing as the 'moderate' alternative to the extremes of the far-right, so the way we fix this is by moderating further to the right!"

Fuck this, I would stop voting Dem entirely - as opposed to begrudgingly doing so now in races where a true progressive isn't an option.

Uh, what?

This is a massive change proposed by U.S. Soccer. I summarized the big competitive changes on the thread on r/MLS and have screenshotted them below.

There's a lot more in the report worth reading, but this is a basic intro to the concept.

Great to see the newest MLS Next Pro expansion club already leaning into garbage AI slop 🙄 Surely a good sign when you can't even bother to get an artist to do a rendering.

Side bar to the stopping for the World Cup point:

This is a disgusting thing to say. 1) I would probably not choose to use "high-profile, sexy thing" to describe my women's soccer league if I was Berman. 2) "Strip away the culture" for pure profit greed is abhorrent, conservative bullshit.

Jacksonville Armada *may* have been sold. Alternatively, Palmer could've just set up an LLC to manage the club. It's unclear, we'll have to wait for official word or a close source to confirm that.
October 7, 2025 at 4:52 PM
Unfortunately this was always the most likely result. Without clear recording or substantiation, it just becomes word against word and there's not much the league can do there.

The Hounds should be completely
embarrassed to put this statement. Polygraphs are nonsense pseudoscience. Disgusting to try and use that authoritatively. You might as well have posted his horoscope.

Regardless of the truth here, the club deserves real criticism for that.

Hounds statement on tonight's issue. About as good as you can ask for given the circumstances. Hopefully it comes to a resolution quickly one way or the other.
September 21, 2025 at 3:09 AM
It is *wild* to promote this as a "victory" or a good thing lmao. The NSPL is basically saying "the court ruled our bylaws are meaningless, non-binding word salad, and therefore we can't be held accountable to them. We are a deeply serious organization."
