Another huge reach is what if they had a guest and made late night double-shot drinks/affogatos? LOL

Very niche (and very unlikely, but not impossible) edge case is if they're using a metal puck screen and don't want to fish it out of a knock box. I tap mine gently to get the screen to fall out before I knock out the puck itself.

I agree and I imagine life is harder for people now than it was previously.

Slack does have that setting but you have to go into settings to change the up arrow behavior to do it. I could have sworn up-arrow-to-edit was the default at some point but they changed it to the heinous thing it is now.

It shouldn't but I also feel like there was an oauth provider I've used where they explicitly said they did.

I miss living on the west coast.

So even if the Android user were in the Apple user’s contacts, the blog post reads as if Quick Share would not work if the Apple user had their Airdrop configuration set to “Contacts Only”. The Apple user must change it to “Everyone” for it to work.

I mentioned the need to use “Everyone” vs “Contacts Only” for Airdrop because the initial announcement post from Google did not make that clear. (1/2)

Doesn't read like an explicit collaboration since the security blog mentions this only works when the Apple device has "Everyone for 10 minutes" set as their AirDrop configuration vs "Contacts Only".

Every day I suffer trying to unravel which permissions scope I need for which type of credentials.

If the walls were painted a wilder color, I could be convinced this is a screen grab from a Wes Anderson movie

How's it compare to the original series? The subtitle coloring was so jarring to me (because I'm colorblind) that I stopped before they could even finish the intros. But if it's good, I might try harder lol

What they said wasn’t exactly the lyric, but “I shot a man in Reno, just to watch him die” is. That lyric is obviously not meant to be taken literally.

But, I do think that someone randomly posting some semblance of those lyrics without quotes leaves it up for interpretation by the reader.

I just stumbled upon this video that a YouTube channel I tend to watch just posted a month ago: www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hx_M...

Sharing it since I recalled your post and thought maybe it would be useful if you hadn't seen this video yet.

Oh god, I didn’t need that visual aid to be ingrained into my brain!

This is the struggle I faced when playing with svelte a while ago too. Switching between the two was far too difficult when I don’t consider myself even remotely decent at either of them to begin with.

It’s because every time you do, Zuck is tapping his fingertips together like Mr. Burns

Oh, I’ll check it out! I need this but on a broader level too. I am also just mentally stuck in the past as a millennial and have fond memories of what the internet used to be. But I still have hope that it can be that place once again.

I wish there was a space that was just people talking about the stuff they’re building with personal passion. Yes, there’s a whole lot of stuff going on worldwide, but I need an oasis I can take a break at before I have to continue to trudge through the shit that life throws at everyone.

I hate how with each passing year, tech is less tech and is more tech drama slop.

Interesting thread! I happen to take Zyrtec and have some Xlear for my particularly bad days when my allergies are acting up. Cool to know that it helps with prevention and mitigation of long COVID symptoms.
