I fried up my green zebras with some homemade Cajun dill ranch dip🌱🤤

One of my very favorites! I try to find them every year!

This is Minus, the seven legged jumping spider that’s been in and around my bedroom for the last two months. It doesn’t let me handle it directly (yet) but it is very interactive with us otherwise.

We ended up with about 10 edible sunflowers🌱 and the first harvest is really starting to droop nicely. I’m a little out of my element with these. I have a couple ideas of how to use them but if anyone has some tips, tricks, or recipes that would be much appreciated💜

Recently finished @jamieloftus.bsky.social ‘s new book Raw dog and I cannot recommend it enough. Ate a bun length Nathan’s glizzy with *two* kinds of mustard and zero ketchup as soon as it ended.

Two of the smaller sunflowers🌱 didn’t make it through the Oklahoma winds last night. One was a variety that hadn’t bloomed yet.

Our tomato harvest has been less than stellar this year but this green zebra got *huge* for its type and I’m going to honor it with a Cajun corn fry and some creamy dill dip🤤🌱

Tried out a mixed sunflower patch for the first time this year to much success. The tallest reached over 14 feet!
