For #T1D news followers, have you ever wondered about exposure to ethylene oxide residues from the sterile equipment we use on a daily basis? If you're aware of any research into this please share.

Greg Abbott wasted $3 billion of our tax dollars on a phony border wall.

That money could have been used for public schools, healthcare, or the energy grid but our governor would rather create problems than solve them. www.texastribune.org/2025/06/17/t...
With only 8% built, Texas quietly defunds state border wall program

BAD BILL ALERT: SB 383 just passed State Affairs (w/o public testimony). It would essentially ban offshore wind w/in 3 miles of the Texas Coast. Be on the lookout #txlege House members.

Tomorrow, a certain online mega-retailer launches a book sale, just days before Indie Bookstore Day on 4/26. This is no coincidence; Bookstore Day is one of the largest revenue drivers for indies.

Indies need our support to thrive & build community spaces for all...mega-retailers do not.

Cubs have scored 137 runs so far, most in the majors. That's what I've been noticing lately. Huge run production (not all attributable to having two extra games played early).

Youth, retired, labor, environment, justice orgs and more all support action to lower electric bills and strengthen the grid. There’s broad stakeholder support for these solutions. Time to listen #txlege
🚨 61 organizations across Texas have signed a joint letter demanding lower electric bills and a clean, reliable grid.

And Texas families ask #txlege politicians: what will it take for you to pay attention to energy efficiency?

SB 1915 and HB 4374 are still waiting for a hearing. EE has a proven track record of success. Stop wasting our money on gas plant subsidies.
Politicians ask: What will it take for companies to build more natural gas power plants for the strained Texas power grid?

As it turns out, for a growing number of developers, even the Texas government handing out taxpayer-backed loans is not sufficient. www.houstonchronicle.com/business/ene...

Lt Gov & Chair Schwertner passed @saraheckhardttx.bsky.social’s Energy Efficiency goal bill last session. It hasn’t received a hearing yet this time. Please make a call to ask them to hear it (SB 1915). It’s the most affordable option for our grid stability and lowers electric bills. #txlege
Texas ranks 36th in energy efficiency, yet the Legislature is ignoring the cheapest, cleanest fix for our grid. Read our @texastribune.org piece on why TX leaders must act now: bit.ly/tribune-ee
