As a #SFGiants fan, was huge #Bluejays fan for a week. Incredibly exciting Series. Dodgers, baseball’s new Death Star, prevailed with incredible talent delivering historic performances. Kudos. But, I can’t wait to see how my team competes in 26. May the trench run begin!

Rogers Hornsby: People ask me what I do in winter when there's no baseball. I'll tell you what I do. I stare out the window and wait for spring.

Rogers Hornsby's Therapist: Let's unpack that, Roger.

Rogers Hornsby: It's "Rogers"

Gotta give it to #SFGiants Buster Posey. He's not scared. He's not boring. He made a defining decision by hiring Tony Vitello straight from college ball. I have zero idea how it will work out, but it will definitely be interesting. And entertaining. Go Giants!

Watching live American sports, and getting the impression the powers that be want us to drive bigger cars and bet on everything.

#SFGiants Buster Posey is decisive. But, jury still out on whether he can shape a contending roster and staff. He inherited a lot, but roster ended up woefully short on pitching and athleticism. Job requires big decisions within wild uncertainty. We’ll see how he does in season 2.

#SFGiants end 2025 season on upbeat note. Adames smashes 30. Webby tops NL innings and Ks. But, .500 ball wasn’t the plan. Of course, it could be worse. We could be Mets fans.

Another lost season for #SFGiants. 162 games is a long slog and best-laid plans oft go awry. Building a staff to absorb 4374 outs in the max-effort era is a black art. Curious to see how Buster approaches his second season at helm.

Forget the wild card, let’s just win the West #SFGiants

After disastrous streak of losing, #SFGiants playing free and loose—walloping HRs with record consistency, playing clean ball. And, ironically, putting themselves back in playoff contention. That might be a bridge too far, but a winning season would be sweet, and give hope for 2026.

Any glimmer of hope for #SFGiants season comes to unequivocally and desultory end. That was rough. Now question is how Buster takes the same core of Chapman, Adames, Devers and fields a competitive team in 2026.

At least the #GSValkyries at Chase Center are exciting and bringing hope. Cause the #SFGiants vibe on McCovey Cove is fresh, raw anguish and disappointment. One mile apart; whole different world

Uh. No. 😭 #SFGiants
Thunderstruck. #BusterPosey and @sfgiants.com rock the baseball world by landing lefty slugger, Rafael Devers, and shaking up the NL. Elite run-prevention needed, at least, competent offense. This might work. Let’s go!

#SFGiants season ended with a sudden thud. Buying was still on the table until team fell on their face losing all 6 of their homestand, leading to a surrender and sell-off. Needed 3 wins to buy. They won 0. Best wishes to fan favorites—Yaz, Camilo, Ty Rogers. #WaitTillNextSeason

#SFGiants are free-falling. Sell. And bring me the head of Pat Burrell.

#OraclePark was electric. Energy surged back and forth between partisans in a full house; each at bat, each inning. Waves alternated between hope and despair. At the end, with the tension ratcheted to its highest possible level, a final cheer of delight and crushing disappointment. #SFGiants #BeatLA

#SFGiants Pat Bailey. Inside-the-park walkoff HR. Of course. Called it. 😂

#SFGiants Raffi Devers seems genuinely happy to be here (and out of Boston). Also, Craig Breslow didn’t have a column on his spreadsheet for “dude” factor. And Buster Posey does.

#SFGiants cursed to never score another run. Until they trade Hayden Birdsong and Luis Matos for Vladimir Guerrero. Then they will score about 3.5 runs a game. While allowing 3. And dominating.

Somehow, the #SFGiants offense has gotten worse.

@enosarris.bsky.social, please underestimate Wilmer “baseball god” Flores more. We love it. #SFGiants

“Lose yourself in the game and let it rip,” Kerr said he told his players. “Then, if you lose, there’s sorrow, but there’s no regrets.” … good approach for Game 7s. Better approach for life. #warriors

#SFGiants are killers. Especially with those 2 ft, 59 mph Little League HRs. As hilarious as that is, this team is actually, like, good.

It is me or does it frel like @sfmta.bsky.social struggles mightily with their subway overhead wires? Luckily, it post-COVID Friday, but the subway is disabled again because of an overhead wire failure. It shouldn’t be this hard, right?

Random thought…why don’t their make #MLB catcher’s gear that integrates/shows off a squatting catcher’s name and number? If they can make a team logo/script go across a button-up jersey, they can make a name and number work on a catcher’s back…
