Have escaped from the right-wing populist free speech hate-fest that is the other platform.. views my own.
It's been a while since I've seen the full Live Aid footage and I had forgotten how Queen completely smashed Live Aid.... the only band who came even close to matching them were U2, imo.

President Biden just called Dr. Anthony Fauci a "true hero" at the White House.

Moments like this—where a president publicly praises a dedicated doctor and scientist—will become rare in the years ahead.

It's now definitely acceptable to listen to Christmas tunes. We're past the 'Not until after Halloween/Bonfire night/Remembrance Sunday' arguments. I appreciate that some include Thanksgiving in that list, but I'm damned if I'm being deprived of Noddy Holder for a festival we don't even celebrate.

Joined Twitter in 2010 and, until recently, had only ever used it with incumbent Tory governments. I spent 14 years on there, mainly ranting, hopeful that one day I might get to use the platform in better times. But just at the point that we finally got rid of the Tories, X became intolerable....

First post on here, and I can't think of anything incisive, original, amusing, or sharply topical to say. Good job I don't have any followers to disappoint. Anyway, this seems like an appropriate initial mission statement:
Twitter: Fight the incorrigible idiots. That'll show 'em. (It never ever does.)

BlueSky: Block the incorrigible idiots, and reclaim your time - and your mental health.
