Finally tidied the yard enough to enjoy my morning joe.

Hello and Happy Friday!
I have a handful of gigs coming up this Summer. They are all special in their own way. But I am particularly excited about this one, since my pal Dru will be coming Stateside to join us.

You won’t want to miss as we celebrate the our new album Among the Black Trees!

I know we are fighting for our right to exist (and the fight continues on).

At the same time, an L.A. institution is in danger of being destroyed.

Some of my earliest childhood memories were at The Dome. If you live in L.A., please consider showing up to save this historic theater.

Happy Friday friends.

The kids got to enjoy some window time yesterday before the rain came back.

I think today’s Hands Off Protest was larger than the Women’s March back in 2017. That one was super emotional because all of it was “new.”

This time, I was simply awed by the scope and size. Never been more proud to be a Portlander/Oregonian.
We understand the assignment!

I know life sucks, and everything is horrible, but I’m trying to offset it by good stuff too.

Here is an epically timed pic of me busting the cats in a simultaneous sun bath. They are digging the Spring times, when we get them!

My Boris.
Such a handsome fella!

I freaking LOVE my condo, but I HATE having to share walls with others.

Nothing like working four 12-hour shifts, only to be rudely awakened by loud construction noise (sawing & hammering) happening next door (neighbor is having siding replaced around his garage).
1st world problem for sure. 🤷‍♀️😔

Well done Wisconsin!

I was able to attend a Town Hall today at Centennial High School lead by State Rep Maxine Dexter. It felt good to be around folks as concerned about the state of our country and state as I am, and made me feel a little less alone in my anxiety and in this world.

This was the line to get in.

Next target: DOL. Anyone in the area, please show up and raise hell!
Apparently there’s a “kickoff” meeting between the DOGE people and Department of Labor management planned for tomorrow at 4pm ET.

Unrelatedly, the Frances Perkins Building that houses the Dept of Labor is located at 200 Constitution Ave. NW, Washington, DC 20210.

This is some dark, DARK shit you guys.
NBC News is being kicked out of its space in the Pentagon and replaced by OANN.

Hey, I know the sky is falling and all of that, but if we don’t have art, we die. Let’s gather our community together and stand strong against this tyranny and prop each other up!
Please consider attending.

Watch this in full.
Caroline Kennedy, cousin to the current pick for HHS secretary Robert F Kennedy Jr, has penned a scathing letter warning senators about her cousin, calling him a "predator."

She also says her father and uncle would be "disgusted" by RFK, Jr. www.youtube.com/watch?v=YLLx...

Guess Cheryl Hines has no shame. Seeing her sitting next to Megyn Kelly is gross.

If you aren’t updated on your vaccines, get them now!
This is truly abhorrent.

Glad to see folks are getting wise and leaving that toxic environment (formerly Twitter). Nice to see some familiar faces around here!

Sure needed this today.

This probably applies more to folks who grew up on the West Coast maybe. Remember how excited you used to get when your folks would let you sit in the car while the car went through the car wash?
Anyone still get a twinge of a thrill doing it as an adult? Just me?
Ok, cool. 🤓

Heirloom tomato plant yielded ZERO fruit, until now. Wonder if she’ll change color in time. 🤔
