Some of the details on the new Reds.TV service. Essentially, most things will stay the same, but there is a streaming option with no regional blackouts, as expected.
Although the price is a bit steep for a singular team, this pricing seemed inevitable when it's not bundled with a cable package.

This seems to be the best possible outcome for fan accessibility, removal of blackout restrictions, etc. What remains to be seen is how lucrative the direct-to-consumer model can be, especially with an ownership group that is already notoriously cheap.

MLB TV deals continue to be a mess. Reds opt out of continuing their deal with Diamond Sports.
Reds may be more accessible this year, but it feels like there won't be a great option for baseball fans until there an integrated MLB streaming platform, a la MLS
