Cincinnati made its modern streetcar free in 2020. Ridership has doubled. In May, it had the highest ridership of 65 transit routes serving the Cincinnati region, 7 of which run 24/7. It is 5X more productive than an average Cincinnati bus measured by passengers per vehicle per hour.

Cincinnati has made its preference known to ODOT. Waiting to see what ODOT will do.

Cincinnati will narrow the I-75 ROW, put it in a trench, and re-establish part of the street grid over I-75 to reconnect the CBD with the land west of the freeway - similar to what we did with I-71 on the south side of the CBD in the late 1990's.

Cincinnati has one of the very best modern streetcars in the U.S., along with Kansas City, Portland and Tucson. Connects all the dots in the urban core. Reinvestment along the line way ahead of projections.
