Alright he compliments Chiaki being ‘surprisingly smarter than he seems’ that’s relatively normal. In the manga adaptation there’s apparently this shot, ok somewhat yaoiful undercurrents.

It may be a small part of an unimportant story, but these words are to live by. Chiaki is unafraid to try unpopular things, and might even love them for it. The more people complain about and criticize things online, the more I want to be contrarian and like it better than they do
Finished fe birthright for the first time, I would say it has all my fave fates character designs including my beloved subaki so that was mainly the best part. Ofc I overused ryoma as that was just the fastest lol. But dark rider orochi was truly the goat. Focused on A+ supports so no paired ends

So I played thru most of tengoku struggle, but skipped the rest of the Goemon/true route which I know is a heinous act against visual novel morality. Not that I didn’t like him, but the one and only route for me was already at the start. Fucking love this guy Sharaku atp the game was already perfect
