last week i remembered that macOS lets you set your own icons and that *I* have the power to delegitimize the professionalism of the software that runs on my machine, so here's a thread of the 16 new icons i've made so far

i really forgot how fun it was to just sit down and make art for myself :')

comparison between apple's finder icon and mine. apple's is the split blue and white smiley face, mine is two blue and white anime girls making out

comparison between discord's icon and mine. mine is like a screaming cat on a blue/purple slimy background

comparison between celsys's clip studio paint icon and mine. mine is similar but rotated with some comic styling and pink and blue highlights

comparison between mozilla's firefox icon and mine. mine is similar but looks closer to the old firefox icon and brings back the little arm and gives the fox a cute little smiley face

The first page of BONE COLLECTOR, the character I was working with a bunch while in college. #jandriSFWart

Panel 1: A small, hunched figure in a dirty robe and black hair is halfway in the ground, shoveling dirt out of an open grave.

Panel 2: He pops his head out and turns, speaking to the viewer. "Oh! Hello! It is I-"

Panel 3: We zoom in on his disgusting, smiling face- "Your local BONE COLLECTOR"

Panel 4: A vision of different bones floating in a vortex appear, to illustrate his description. "I collected old bones. Bones with character, that people have long forgotten."

Panel 5: He points down at the corpse laying in the open coffin at his feet- it's a (relatively) recently dead old woman, with hair and skin still. "But I've made a mistake. These bones are much too new."

Panel 6: He mindlessly pulls her guts out of her body and begins to sloppily consume them. "No problem. I was getting hungry, anyway." *MONCH chew chew*

Panel 7: He begins to climb his way out of the grave and into the graveyard. "Well, I should probably move on."

If we've learned anything from corporate grifts & failures, it's that the boy who pointed out that the emperor was naked would've been hanged before anyone admitted any wrongdoing.

The emperor would slowly begin wearing clothes again, claiming the old clothes just werent the right market fit.
