"I'm really an okay guy" -Carter Burke, 2179

SciFi/fantasy, cargo bikes, never worn lycra, cats and true blue.
I do love it when Airbnb hosts leave some nice bedtime reading for the kids

Been car free for around 2 weeks whilst it undergoes a gearbox replacement and it's been an absolute breeze with our 'second car'.

Shopping, nursery runs, visits to the city centre and beyond, cinema trips.

Not all cyclists wear lycra and most shouldn't need to.

Some of the cycling/2 wheeled superhighways between Leiden, Wassenaar and The Hague. Go anywhere on a bike or moped, feel safe. Another world

Just back from a week in The Netherlands and god the UK is depressing. Noisy, irrational rage fuelled, entitled car muppets.

Ok Edinburgh nephophiles/sky watchers, what caused this weird loop above the clouds. It seemed a lot more defined a minute prior to this being taken (in Corstorphine).

Why? Aren't cyclists allowed to ride on the carriageway?

A win for common sense. NEW LTN AT CAMMO AND LENNYMUIR ALERT *Kill Bill noises*

Unreal that several parties were able to agree on this, a real positive update for conquering the rat runs.

And you need to try Störtebäckerei German bakery at the junction of Clermiston Hill and St John's Rd but it has very limited opening hours

Don't know if it counts but there's the psychic well just off Ladywell Rd. The wee old police box next to Magnet.

And this bloody locked gate on Kirk Loan. Even though you can walk to it from both sides. More of a moan really

I have a soft spot for that part of the country as my mum lives in Haltwhistle.

Don't forget yer Magna cap

Great shared use path (if not a bit narrow) from Blackness to Boness, especially for those with kids on bikes. Shame about the one arsehole tearing it up on his wee-chode-energy moped.

Otherwise absolutely serene.

Here's a family saloon, not sure what the problem is

Highlighted is the new Flying Colours nursery. There is literally no way to get a child's buggy to it from Maybury Rd without either traversing a stairway, or walking down the roadside (where drop-offs tend to park). The nursery has raised the issue with Cala who could not care in the slightest.

The Granton Gasholder looking excellent. Nice wee place for the kids to hang out (once the grass is walkable)

Far too many incidents are happening around this section now, including the daily close calls and guard rail collisions. It's not fit for purpose. Would a CYCLOPS roundabout be a fix?

Corstorphine in general needs an overhaul, it's not a village anymore.

Sadly major accidents have already happened near this area recently and I agree. It's not an 'if', but a 'when'.
