You are not the only one who had that thought, @fguney.bsky.social seems to share this 😂 (and me too).

4. I also plug-in some of our own Figures mixing 3D vs 2D:

3. I also appreciate when 3D is mixed with 2D in a helpful way, as often stuff IS 3D: either because of 3D vision, or just because of different tensor dims.

2. Colors: that's surely subjective, but I think you can't go wrong with pastel, it's the least aggressive.
arxiv.org/abs/2504.14151
(Nice paper by FAIR/Meta, but I think the Figure could have had some more details on where Q,K,Vs go)

So, I like a couple of things.
1. When architecture information is combined with a Figure showing what actually happens with the data:

What do you search for exactly? Beautiful Figures? Easily understandable Figures, or both? With "Systems", do you mean any neural network like architecture, or do you more mean "ML-ops" based things?

It would be even easier if both numbers were metric.
Ha, actually, in the metric system you only need a single number instead of two, that's the whole point of the metric system 😆
1m 78cm = 178cm .... magic!

A summer school is a single week. It's "during summer", not "the full summer".
Also, Europeans are not really known for .... not taking holidays 😉

How is it possible to have a salary which does not cover the full year? That would even be a legal problem in most European countries, unless you fire and hire them again, which is not easy either.

They are a full week of graduate level courses mostly given by really well known people to a topic like "computer vision", "RL" etc.
Famous examples are
- PAISS paiss.inria.fr
- ICVSS icvss.dmi.unict.it/icvss2025

I have lots of other gripes.
- I randomly lose my hot-spot connection to the Mac, it's unstable
- It already has a scratch on the screen, for no apparent reason. I didn't have scratches on my Google phones for years.
- Lyon public transport tickets are not supported on iOS 😱
But face ID is great!

How about the swipe to undo which you do not have on iOS? I switched half a year ago and I am still profoundly unhappy.

My first smartphone was an iPhone 3GS and then I changed to a series of Android phones in 2013 (HTC One, Lenovo K6, Xiami Note 7, Google Pixel 6) but was always nostalgic about iOS. Now I switched back to an iPhone 16. I waited 2 weeks before writing this, but I am __VERY__ unhappy about iOS.

Actually, after posting this I saw that they just provide random sentences in each session. I recorded a second video and got "This color looks good on you".
