It also still has its full complement of torpedoes and was carrying 67 tonnes of mercury to supply to the Japanese. Boo!

Recent surveys have it leaking 4kg mercury per year and not all of the containers have fully corroded yet.

WWII has made so many /interesting/ wrecks.
This one reminds of the U-boat that was sunk in the north sea on a supply mission to Japan. It's at a depth of around 150m around 15 miles off the coast of Bergen.

It remains the only u boat sunk by another submersible, while both were submerged. Yay!

I know that it's probably Just A Name but I prefer the time lord theory PURELY because Roger Moore mourns Tracy Bond who was married to Lazenby's Bond and I mean what other evidence do you need?

You're gonna be one of those late-middle aged people campaigning about the "local hum" I can just see it now

Thanks! We very rarely get snow in England so this was a special treat

Based on the opinion of every old school photographer I've ever spoken to: "wrong"

Probably because I never printed in a darkroom before last month would be my guess

This image I made a while back is evergreen, I fear

IN THEORY it should be as simple as plugging the usb in and searching for drives on your network.

You could then do the same on the home pc.

Do you have a router with a usb port? The easiest but not the nearest solution I can think of is an external hard drive plugged into a router.

A usb thumb drive would work if you're not moving masses of files.

That should be accessible without needing to install stuff on a locked down laptop.

Literally just had this on a car journey. Tried to use a voice command to change a song (a feature that's worked since 2014)

Instead, it asked me to set up Gemini and blocked the entire phone screen with a message that couldn't be dismissed without touching the phone screen.

Thank you so much! I did a degree in biochemistry and tinkering with my film interests the chemist in me.

I'd love to leverage that to get a job with a certain manufacturer of silver-based goods one day perhaps 😏

I'm really happy with my latest work of the fluorescent tubes and Phoenix I.

A4: My Nikon FE very very rarely gets left behind. It's an extension of my hands at this point.

I love @ilfordphoto.com FP4 in 120.

I also love @harmanphoto.co.uk Phoenix I, it's absolutely fantastic with flash and I will be loading some cameras up with it for my wedding next year.

A3: my god awful website is christopherbarne.com and it's borderline abandoned currently as I've been the busiest I've ever been at work.

A2: 100% a hobbyist. I have done exactly 2 "professional" jobs.

I did the photography for my Nan's 70th birthday and I did a jewellery photo shoot for a friend as a favour.

I work in a testing lab by trade which is more problem solving than creative.

A1: I'm Chris, I shoot pretty much anything with a focus on unusual media such as aerochrome, infrared, black and white reversal and more recently, strange lighting.

I've been into photography since 2019 but it really took off when I bought my first film camera with my partner in 2020. #photochat

Ahhh okay, I don't have the QB39. I might try with my GR3 (KG3) and see if that doesn't let too much IR through.

I've always struggled with UV white balancing too so I'll need to figure that out as well.

I need to try out my ZWB2 some time too.
