I feel pretty strongly that gender separated spaces can be really therapeutic for teenagers, Boy Scouts for me was an essential refuge from high school, and I don't know how to make space for something like that within current gender politics.

Sometimes, the most important news is when something isn’t happening.

In my new @OurWorldInData article, I highlight that US airlines have transported passengers for more than two light-years since the last plane crash.

wait lol @ezrakleinbot.bsky.social is just a bot that reposts his tweets? But then it's also reposting other people's content here? Kinda wild, they should put "bot" in the account's name I think

This seems...extremely bad
That Axios article: "The Gen Z cohort born between 1997 and 2012, think they have to earn almost $600,000 a year to really make it."

Gen Z is the most money-centric generation we've seen yet.

Their priorities are just different. More about money, less about kids, marriage, or family.

The Robert Caro LBJ biography has wildly exceeded my expectations so far. I expected it to be full of detail and wild stories (and it is), but I didn't expect the breathtaking writing and craftsmanship that Caro put into it. I've never read a biography so compelling.

I'm fascinated by the intuitive differences in people's response to going to space

Some people: "Why should we go? What will be the practical applications? Aren't there better priorities on earth?"

Other people: "It's just obvious!!! How can you not see it?"
