The fact that one of the main uses of AI is for therapy is alarming. I get that it's expensive to see a real therapist but AI should not be posed as an alternative.

Plus, my writing is mostly scripts or tutorials based on HTML/CSS and it kept rewriting my tags as HTML entities so my other beef is it don't even work right half the time!!!

I used to love the Notion app for task planning and writing. When they first added AI, it was great! Straight forward writing tools. Then it started doing all the personification and it was so annoying. Like I don't need to read extra fluff, I though AI was supposed to help you be more efficient!

Yes! Personification in the sense that it is a "friend" or it can "think" enough to be giving tasks/work with no backup. I've use AI tools for writing (grammar checks, shortening sentences, etc) and brainstorming but it's very rare I use whatever it generates as is.

The first time I was in LA during December, I couldn't make sense of seeing Christmas decorations and sunny, warm-ish weather. It was so weird to me! (I'm in Toronto and we are in the midst of our first snow.)
