Home after an 11+ hr flight and back with my partner in crime :) ❤️🐈‍⬛

So then I go looking for Herbertstrasse, which is the last street in Hamburg that still has sex workers plying their trade in shop windows. Note the sign that says women are forbidden to enter.

Then when I get topside, I notice that in the middle of the red light distract there’s a ginormous Christmas carnival with a band. Because of course there is :)

So glad I decided to do this! Checking out the Reeperbahn my last night in Hamburg and when I get to the station, I see more German cops in one place (some in riot gear) than the entire time I’ve been here. Also a posse of drunk singing Germans on the platform. In the right place :)

This was a lifetime dream today-got to see the Nuremberg courtroom where the trial happened! (Hey I’m a crim def atty dork as well as a history dork) :)

I originally thought doing the dawn patrol (5:05am) train from Essen to Nuremberg was bananas but it turns out to have been a good call-car is empty, my phone is charging and all is right with the world :)

Thank you to the Int’l Criminal Court for your hospitality and for letting me crash a tour! This is the only tribunal that could get me to cross the line to prosecution after nearly 20 yrs as a defence atty-so, are ya hiring? :)
