A few years ago—struck by the increasing severity of wildfire season—I started trying to capture the impact of wildfire smoke on day-to-day life in my painting. These paintings are now on view at the Sierra Arts Foundation gallery in downtown Reno until Nov. 23. Check them out if you’re in town!
