Puke at the "Peterson Law" name!
Instead, let's found the College of Politicians (CoP). Premier Smith's lies would earn her an F in "Truth & Accountability 101." Revoke the license for supreme quackery! 😂 #ABpoli Does this mean regulated professionals are more free to call out her quackery?

This is a very disturbing thread.
(🧵) Just had one of the most upsetting experiences I’ve ever had with AI. As a test, I asked Grok to provide me with 200 statements about “Seth Abramson” that met two criteria: they are (a) true, (b) critical. What Grok returned was the most bizarre series of fabulations I have ever seen. Thus this:

MAGA men are now saying the quiet part out loud: they want to repeal the 19th Amendment and strip women of their right to vote. Todd Beeton examines this ugly trend. Also, Jay Kuo unpacks the real failure underlying Senate Democrats' deal to reopen the government.
This Week In The Big Picture
In the aftermath of last week’s blue wave election rout, the 19th Amendment has been trending on X.

I so agree with this AISH viewpoint. Few of the people I know that are AISH recipients could handle very many hours of paid employment if at all. The reason they are on AISH is because they need Assured Income for the Severely Handicapped. They do not need more stressors in their lives.

And I would like to remind Albertans, and Canadians, that the AISH (assured income for the severly handicapped) is a program for people with SEVERE disabilities, usually permanent lifelong injuries. These people have ALREADY had to jump through medical hoops to PROVE and justify their eligibility.

Attended the Premier Council's town hall for the AISH changes the Ab government is ramming down severely disabled throats & became increasingly more incensed. This govt is unconcerned with the harm they create or the devastation of forcing SEVERELY disabled people into further poverty.

Unless you’ve experienced the socioemotional violence inflicted by benefits gatekeepers personally you can’t truly imagine what we live through daily. I was forced onto AISH because employers wouldn’t hire me. I’ll be almost 63 when I’m switched to ADAP. Yeah, sure, I’ll get hired. Uh huh.

Nearly 80,000 Albertans with disabilities rely on AISH.

Now, almost all will be forced to reapply, creating fear & stress. At a time of high unemployment, many are also being pushed to “find work.”

Albertans with disabilities deserve dignity, not anxiety.

I've spent HOURS emailing and calling members of the AB government to address the upcoming changes to AISH that will kick ALL severely disabled people off the program until they prove they can't work or are actively dying, and I've received ONE form letter in response to my efforts.

I just CANNOT.

"First they came for..." is not just a poem. It's a playbook for policy in Alberta. From the AISH benefit to dental care, and trans kids to cis girls, the pattern is clear. Silence on one issue makes you vulnerable on the next.

The fact that the province wants its share of the funds to opt out of the dental plan should absolutely be viewed through the lens of how they’re treating AISH recipients.

No improvements, but subsidizing the govts bottom line.

Remember how CBC dedicated an entire call-in show to "The US is going to annex us. What are your thoughts on that?" and they had Kevin O'Leary on as an 'expert'? And they doubled and tripled down, defending their decision to do that?

CBC, he does not respect you. Why do y'all respect him?!
It gets worse:

“The thing about the CBC, I gotta tell you guys, is the whole place is run by women. I’m working for women. I’m a token guy there ...

So you know how I get back at them? Today when I do that hit by Skype, I won’t have any pants on. I never do. I’m not kidding.”
