After nearly two years of eggless baking, it’s humbling to remember I still have a lot to learn 😂

It arrived! @ladyofsardines.bsky.social - it is beautiful, stunning, haunting… all the things 🙏🏻💛

A bit of “intellectual” prep with side of donut 🥰

I am not a tomato person* but Stephen is. Apparently Japanese Milk Bread is excellent for tomato sandwiches 🤷🏼‍♀️ made some.

*yes, I’ve tried them fresh, local, many varieties, attempt each summer… I’d rather not have the aversion, but I do!

A week of bluegrass in a field. Now, back to reality 💛

Just… really into this headline.

(may we all continue to find ways to live our best lives & capture moments of joy - fueling the fire & fighting on).

Stephen & I have spent the last five years camping during the summer solstice.

The last two with sweet W.

After coming “back to reality” I’d very much rather retreat to our tent 💔

I’m so sorry, world.

NINE STATES are now refusing to sign the public ed order from the federal government.

I’m so so SO done with the ridiculous narrative that Vermont is giving nothing away by signing.

THIS IS WHY we asked for someone with experience & integrity to lead the department 💔

The treatment of Rümeysa Öztürk while in Vermont demonstrates (yet again) that the myth of Vermont exceptionalism is truly that… a myth.

I’m not so sure… latest statement from Saunders seems less clear than NY (unless she’s pushed out yet another one?)

The world is on fire AND sweet W started seeds for our sweet pollinators to enjoy. So, yeah. Both/and.

Still thinking about the students at yesterday’s round table. Their ability to hold multiple truths, speak to complexity, and yet be unwavering in their commitment to shared humanity - beautiful.

Those who know @sanders.senate.gov know that he is who he is… it was an earnest discussion.

It appears they are awake… 🐻

While national teacher morale went up last year, Vermont went down.

We are so close to the bottom. I’m so worried about education in our brave little state 💔
