AI will never, ever compete with the kind of stream of consciousness you will get from a human venting actionable scam avoidance guidance on the internet. lookup.robokiller.com/p/888-245-0327

This was my most exciting Startac moment though. I was being courted by a Boston tech firm in 2000, and at dinner in one of the city's high-end restaurants someone passed the new Motorola V phone around, the smallest thing anyone had ever seen, it was comically small, James Bond Q Branch small.

I had a STARTAC *AND* the borderline pointless PDA which clamped on top of it, forming this brick you would eventually just sell back to eBay

Is John Lawrence awesome, yes. Is William Zabka awesome, yes, I've met him, he is one of the coolest people I've ever met. Would he or any of his karate franchise-mates stand a chance against Bourne, hell no. No. They would die.

When these films came out, I wasn't a black belt, I wasn't an anything belt, I wasn't even thinking about martial arts back then. Rewatching these now, Bourne's fighting style is just - awesome. Pragmatic, economical, point of origin direct to target, super strong, just so damn fun to watch.

There's a lot of hate for the fourth Bourne film - Legacy - but I am a fan. I think the casting, story, and chemistry is really good, and Renner is a goddamn hero. The fifth one - the thing from 2016 which I re-watched last night - forgettable, bordering on ridiculous, I don't know how.

Just a random reminder how truly great the first three Bourne movies were (Identity, Supremacy, Ultimatum). Beautifully shot, fun to watch, I love them.

Today's outage is of course consequential because AWS powers everything, right down to the platform which makes you aware if little johnny is skipping school.

Your battery is at 1%. You use the remaining charge to load a page where you will learn if your family vehicle is part of a safety recall. You scroll patiently, navigating a digital minefield for the answer And now, the latest looks from Versace™ and your phone burns its final electron and goes dark

I thought, this will be a good idea, a full hour discussing the cybersecurity of medical devices dressed as Jim Hopper.
