Today’s reward for sunny, blue sky cycling is some just excellent mail from my home town. I’ve loved the music of @chrispager.bsky.social for a long time. He played live on Both Kinds. I even shared the stage with him at Targ for the Both Kinds 10th anniversary celebration.

Lovely friends making very cool music. Solos Going Steady was once again Nothing But Hits! 1. Elizabeth is more punk than you. 2. Susan inspires with thoughtful songs and picking. 3. Jon and his guitar are a spellbinding combination. 4. Page, with stiff competition, wins at prettiest guitar tone.

I popped in on Radio Hootnanny for a chat with Skip The DJ on CKLU.

We talked about my new LP, the advice Sam Cooke’s pastor had and the evils of social media. It was a great chat. Hopefully my never-wavering love of college radio shines through.

Maybe I have a social media aversion these days, but this platform is reminding of another dumpster fire I recently left. 🤪 If you’re interested in following what I’m up to, I’m most active on Substack here: Substack.com/@chrispage Free to follow/subscribe. 🤘😎
