I applied to some jobs today which made my head hurt. Later realized I hadn’t edited a cover letter correctly for one of the jobs so that’s fun. I don’t know what to do with my life.

Saw someone at Mom’s with some neck and facial tattoos who I’m pretty sure I’ve seen there before and I wouldn’t say love at first sight but my introverted ass came close to trying to talk to them.

While walking Jax I saw a ow fly up to some higher branches and he was gracious enough to hang tight while I took this bad picture. It’s amazing watching him fly close to me and never hearing him.

Part of Medfield has the power out. The elementary school has its generator running, everything north and west of there is out. Kind of weird and peaceful walking through that area.

The new Rosalía album LUX is beautiful. I just listened it to all of it twice. I don’t know Spanish to know what she’s singing about (or any of the other languages minus English used in this album) but her voice paired with the music is stunning.

Watching Last Week Tonight talking about the shutdown, and I believe that in later days/months/years when the government is (maybe) back open, all of this will be used for political messaging. Politicians won’t care what happens, it’s just fuel for being re-elected.

I got a shithead’s account taken off Instagram for violating their standards on hate speech and symbols. I reported him months ago. His handle was dixie defender 1862 and you can guess at his posts and comments.

“Getting Killed” by Geese or “Bleeds” by Wednesday? I love the music on the Geese album but the singing is repetitive. The Wednesday album explores a bunch of genres which is fun.

I’m still on a tired high from #BRF; it was my first official 10k, first time running that far without walking, I got a memorable medal that I’m proud of to go along with a time and pace I’m also proud of. Maybe the best part is my friends met me at the finish line and I cheered others on. Great day
