The implication of this might be that using self-perceived stability to assess the intensity or progression of training is inaccurate.

On Wednesday, I chaired the symposium "Current and emerging approaches to improving balance and gait in vestibulopathy" with talks from Anissa Boutabla, Klaus Jahn, Andreas Zwergal & Max Wühr, & our own PhD candidate Meichan Zhu, who also presented for the third time in the 3MT final.

Directly followed by a busy poster session where I shared the results of a project conducted in Toronto with @avrilmansfield.bsky.social (preprint: www.biorxiv.org/content/10.1...)

On the Monday, I really enjoyed chairing the session "Falls – Mechanism, Prediction and Intervention" with a really interesting range of presentations from Rudri Purohit, Yoshiro Okubo, Jennifer Davis, @antoinelangeard.bsky.social, Maaike van Gameren, Stephen Robinovitch & lnbal Paran

We had the pleasure of hosting 4 different events in our CAREN and University labs, including our workshop "Designing technology-assisted, task-specific protocols for walking experiments, assessments and training", the Motek user meeting and our official ISPGR Lab Tour.
