On Wednesday, I chaired the symposium "Current and emerging approaches to improving balance and gait in vestibulopathy" with talks from Anissa Boutabla, Klaus Jahn, Andreas Zwergal & Max Wühr, & our own PhD candidate Meichan Zhu, who also presented for the third time in the 3MT final.

Had a great week in Trabzon, Turkey at #PhysAgeNet 2025! On Thursday, I presented the pilot study of our PhD candidate Liset van der Hulst on fall-resisting skills, followed by a trip to Sümela Monastery where we had some immediate practice!

After joining us about a month ago, today was Tamaya's first presentation for our department about her past research and what she will be working on in the next three years. Very excited to have her here in Maastricht!

Really enjoyed a full day last Friday in Maastricht discussing our past, current & future work using perturbations with Marissa Gerards, Nikita Sharma, Tamaya Van Criekinge & Liset van der Hulst, as well as Pieter Meyns & Kenneth Meijer.
Lots of interesting work to come!
