did no one watch/read The Godfather???? They talked about Vito Corleone not using the phone because he was afraid the feds would record conversations and splice them together to look incriminating. I won't even email mild critiques of clients/colleagues -- I use the old-timey phone!!!!

Damn, I've been following you for quite a while (here and on the hellsite), and somehow missed this book. Just ordered as it's the kind of sweetly nerdy book the dude and I can read on a chilly winter's night. Will also be thinking about gifting it. Best wishes for your recovery.

@karenattiah.bsky.social similar w/our cat (14). Stopped eating for four days; vets guessed everything from a one-off digestive issue to lymphoma(!!!). He's fine now -- likely a parasite; the two 3-yr-old cats also had mild symptoms. Vet said, "Maybe someone ate a bug?" 😄
