Fascinating thread! Thanks. My two cents on this graph is that it not being obvious isn’t the same as it being structurally set. I assume this has changed over time, so presumably it can change again?

Tl;dr: while wealth _inequality_ hasn't grown over this period, wealth has; meaning the importance of wealth as a driver of economic security (dare I say prosperity) has grown relative to income. Given that wealth is inherently(?) more unequal than income, this makes for a less fair economy. 2/2
