Off topic, but is it me or does that picture make the pitch look the wrong way round?

I think you are reading it the wrong way round. I.e. for those who say self help is their favourite genre, 6% will then vote green.

Apologising for 'offence caused' is not an apology over actually doing the action.

You could have a community wind farm associated with a new build estate.

Almost agree but it should be focused on the output not the input - a house should produce enough to power itself (plus a bit more) or face a big tax cost. That stops 2 token panels and allows alternative measures as well (e.g. micro hydro if near a stream).

Jumping on this as in a similar position. For those saying Kobo or Boox: 1. Is it possible to add my old Kindle library on to them? And 2. Do they have the paper-looking screens available? Thanks

I'm personally in favour of 6 seat STV constituencies. One of the benefits is that you could have both good local MPs and also MPs who are more focused on the national side (i.e. leaders and ministers). It wouldn't be either/or.

The vast majority (all?) Car adverts are foreign. They use left-hand drive cars with (normally) German numberplate. I doubt even that any of the white people in them are British. I realise that this comment makes me look sad that I've noticed it.

So good to be back. The lads put in such a shift. Results this season are an irrelevance.
Just a shame I couldn't see the montage.

Assuming they are trying to work out how to square the difference between the 'official' attendance which is based on seats sold and the actual attendance. Easily 10k difference between the two.

A bit of both - cut VAT from Renewable/loCO2 tariffs but not gas - encourage switching. Cut policy costs from standing charges - as a citizen, I'm happy for the Gov to support those less well off than me, as an energy customer, I'm not.

Brilliant. Thank you.

Any recommendations as to where to hire bikes that are suitable to a) take a toddler round and b) a young child who can ride but cannot ride for hours on her own? Preferably around Gare de Lyon? Thanks

Is that a consequence of climate change?

IIRC, it took 8 years to go from a coal free hour to no coal. Already, about 1% of time we use no gas for domestic purposes (i.e gas<exports) and things to be speeding up year on year. Not quite same metric but definitely moving in right direction.

There will be coal and oil in the electrity mix but cannot really separate figures out. Also I don't think much. Connections inc. France (70%nuclear), Norway (99% Hydro) and Belgium (2% coal).

Failed - not knowing the names of that country's cities didn't help. (Other than the obvious one which I knew it wasn't that).

Will this be a de facto privatisation of public space? How many arguments will be caused by people parking in front of someone else's charger?

What utter nonsense. Would you rather have a coal-fired plant next in the middle of the town instead?

A country where it is illegal to cross the road without permission may suggest a country which prioritises cars over people.
