I find it to be absolutely horrifying that conservatives have taken the lead on this particular issue. Liberation theologians, for instance, hardly conservatives as such, would be horrified.

This isn’t to say I don’t want to do those things. But this one novel isn’t about that. It’s a rest and reprieve. I want to surprised and shocked by how hilarious a story is. Does anyone have a recommendation for a novel like that?

Ultimately, these technologies splinter what’s possible if we could just remove what is covering over relationality.
