if you do a public order course in the UK for reporters (reporting on riots), one of the things they stress is that you won’t encounter CS gas from the cops, because… they don’t need it because they can get close into protestors… because none of them is carrying a firearm that might get grabbed.

I have largely had to avoid buying individual equities for ~ethics~ reasons, but one my brief foray was spectacularly successful. From my experience, what I’d say is that the important thing is to make sure the list of companies you print out doesn‘t hang over the edges of the dartboard.
