One thing I do have to call bullshit on... Jose sent that investor email about NK Tabor in May. To my knowledge, Tribel investors got no such warning. So, maybe NK Tabor didn't pay JOSE specifically, while Tribel at least gave Jose his fee, and that's why he blew up the spot on Tabor but not Tribel?

Why would the press take McChrystal at face value, without pushback? It's a move to hide the local establishment's culpability.

I've found lots of ~conflicts of interest~ that are readily available on the internet for all to see. Crowley's suit contains OLD info that nobody wanted to see either.

LightSquared's influence team extended even to Stanley McChrystal, the former commander in charge of military operations in Afghanistan. After McChrystal retired following a ROLLING STONE story that exposed his dim view of senior administration officials, he founded the McChrystal Group, an Alexandra, Virginia-based consulting firm. In January 2012, as LightSquared desperately sought to acquire spectrum, representatives from McChrystal's firm contacted the Defense Department's mid-Atlantic area frequency-coordinator to discuss the deal. The McChrystal Group was interested in the spectrum reserved for the test aircraft and weapons systems, according to an account published by GPS World, a trade publication. The McChrystal Group, which is not registered as a lobbying firm, initially denied ever contacting the Defense Department on the spectrum deal. "We purposefully have not been doing those types of things, and lobbying is among those practices better left to other people and has never been part of our business plan or focus," said Duncan Boothby, a senior aide to McChrystal. Boothby said the firm's work on behalf of LightSquared related only to an "initial assessment," in which the McChrystal Group would "come in and present to them what services we could provide, where we saw their strategic problems." LightSquared bankruptcy deocmuments shot $70,000 in payments to the McChrystal Group. Days after our initial interview, Boothby called to say that the McChrystal Group had indeed contacted the Defense Department on behalf of LightSquared, yet stressed that it had merely sought to collect information rather than advocate a certain position-- a key difference that would excuse the company from having to register as a lobbying firm.

Taylor Lorenz didn't ~scoop~ anything. This is her friend's paper. And they KNEW these guys were getting paid by Brian Tyler Cohen and Stuart Perelmuter's management/marketing company. Why didn't Taylor cite Semafor? Nor Axios? Smith knew this when I reached out about Occupy Democrats, said nothing.
This was not a spontaneous outpouring of digital passion for energy regulations, however. Some of the social media celebs, including Afshar, were being paid to speak out by political influencer marketing firm atAdvocacy, which was working with environmental awareness client Evergreen Action to push the president to the left on climate issues. Afshar speaks regularly on social issues to a following that also includes 200,000 people on TikTok, and her posts about the regulations helped inspire some of them to write to the EPA.

There's already news of rural clinics shutting down. So in Washington, some people treat this health care fight as some kind of normal back and forth of politics—I think that's totally wrong. If we had a functioning democracy, this would be treated as a real life-and-death health care crisis. So I think Democrats need to be willing to stand up and fight against millions of people losing their health care. We are not just picking a political issue. Democrats could have chosen any number of priorities to attach to this fight — from tariffs to corruption to ICE raids — instead your party has drawn a line around permanently extending Affordable Care Act tax credits and reversing Medicaid cuts. Why do you think health care was chosen as the hill to fight on? And do you think that focus is bold enough to energize voters who’ve been asking Democrats to fight harder?

What's wild though??? I REPORTED bots following me like 4-5 at a time to Bluesky... AND I told Zach Everson (Forbes) about it. That it freaked me out. So, I might have just clocked tea/peeped game/etc. Everything comes full circle in this saga, I swear.

Of course, they didn't do shit about it.
