Failed crowdfunder of the week…Four research chemists are trying to complete their research project only to be stymied by the lead chemist withholding one key component. Don’t miss “The Furan of Dracula” coming soon (not likely) to a laboratory near you!

Good night of gaming!Played a full house of Ready Set Bet that went over very well! Also tried Butterfly Garden which is a clever take on Tsuro where you are trying to build pathways to lead the butterflies to your scoring area.Rounded out the evening with Fuji Flush, Mojo and Strike(not pictured).

Did a family game of Ready Set Bet. No photo of the main race as we were using the app but my wife wanted to try to call a race so we played an extra round. Lots of fun as always. #boardgames

Week 4 of summer games starts with a playing of Coralia. It’s light, it’s random a bit, but it’s very relaxing and enjoyable to play! Plus very nice table presence with the colors and custom dice. #boardgames

Short lunch today but I was able to get a few hands of Baseball Highlights 2045 played. Still holds up pretty well. I’m thinking of giving this one another go tomorrow. #boardgames

Introduced my youngest to my favorite of the “forbidden” series which is Forbidden Desert. We didn’t win but she had fun with it!

Well week 2 kind of busted out due to a fairly busy week. Nothing bad but decided to finish the week at home with the final 2 races of the ‘62 season.

Week 2 is a theme week since Memorial Day is around the corner and the Indy 500 is approaching. I’m playing the 1962 Championship season of Heat! Race 1 in the books and I’m in the middle of the field. No updates tomorrow but I’ll pick this up on Wednesday. #boardgames

Day 4 and only had a little bit of free time. Just enough though to play Metro X which still holds up as a clever little flip and write. #boardgames

Since the Preakness is this Saturday, I thought that I would solo play Long Shot The Dice Game today and it didn’t disappoint. May have to bring this to the lunch group tomorrow to play.

Seemed logical to make Cascadia the game for Day 2 after playing Calico. Was able to complete Scenario 1.
May 13, 2025 at 6:19 PM
This Summer, I’m planning on using the lunch hour for games. No guarantees on how long that lasts but why not? Week 1 starts off with the Monday selection of Calico (A good solo play option). Missed the goal for Scenario 1 but was close. #boardgames
