@jamesgunn.bsky.social I've always liked your needle drops but "Blue Jeans" by Silvertide made me exceptionally happy. Great band that never got the break they deserved.

do people think George Clooney picks candidates
I’ll say this and then I’m gonna step back b/c 2026 IS THE ONLY NATIONAL ELECTION THAT’S IMPORTANT NOW.
No Dem presidential candidate wins w/o high Black turnout & vote.
So stop making it like Black voters are expendable or that you can serve up any candidate chosen by Pelosi, Clooney or MSM & win.

I think it's funny to say people "criticized JD Vance" when it's more like "last Pope and current Pope literally read the Bible differently and correct Vance on obvious doctrinal errors"

if I were better at coding I'd start a website that takes Elon's claimed DOGE savings and factors it into a tax refund for the median income family. Right now DOGE check is like...12 dollars. *waves tiny flag*

Hi, everybody! Jon here. Unfortunately, since ChatGPT is down at the moment, I'm unable to generate my usual Bluesky posts. As soon as it's up and running again, I'll be able to resume the sorts of posting you've come to expect from me over the years. Thanks all.

TRUTH: The massive fire that destroyed Altadena was not a “forest fire.” The fire had nothing to do with forest management or water policy.

Three main reasons the fire exploded:

1. Drought-like conditions
2. Very low relative humidity
3. Santa Ana winds reaching 100 mph
