It is even worse. For regular RDP connections you are supposed to fall back to mstsc which lacks quite a few features compared to the Remote Desktop App.

How are temps on your setup? I use the same CPU in my desktop but keeping it cool is a nightmare.

I‘m very lucky to live in a city that received attention from multiple ISPs around the same time. Multiple of them teamed up to make some progress after years of negligence.
Overall my country continues to be one of the worst when it comes to rolling out fiber optics.

At these prices I would go for it. In the worst case (incompatibility) it can still be repurposed for a later project.
