They don't mess about with house building. The new build with thatch+ PV was built on this reclaimed island. They just filled in a bit of the lake and the older houses kept their boat berths but their view was transformed.

NEW RULE I keep hearing hat heat pumps can't be installed in draughty homes. Well how draughty is draughty? From now on these assertions have to come with a q50 or n50 number to your draughtiness limit and a kWh/m2.a number on ‘well insulated’.
